Barwell Cricket Club

Before the end of the season, we have a few events when everyone is expected to get together and raise money for the club.

August 26th
Sponsored Bike Ride.
We will again be doing the senior teams sponsored ride around the half marathon route through the local area. We are looking to raise money to improve our facilities next year by purchasing new covers. Please raise plenty of money!
After the ride finishes back at the ground we will have a BBQ (weather permitting) and a few drinks to finish the day!

September 1st
Race Night.
Bob at Barwell Sports Bar again hosts our race night, our first one for a couple of years! Entry is free, and we will play Irish Bingo before the racing begins. All age groups from U11s to the Senior teams are invited and expected to attend. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a few drinks and a few bets!

Bagpacking at Morrisons.
The youth sides are to be present in time slots through the day to pack bags and present the good face of Barwell CC. This is a must for the youth teams so we can purchase all the equipment for games next year as well as new training equipment!

The more people turn out to all these events the better they'll be and the more we'll raise to put back into the club. See you there!
