Barwell Cricket Club

Hi all, thanks for everyones contributions this year to the club! The club has had a good season with the weather mainly so hopefully we can get the same next year!

Its been great to see so many Kwik Cricketers up the ground on a Friday evening and hopefully we can continue this next year.

We have had mixed success at junior level, but again our U17s excelled and have had some players being successful in the mens sides too!

Our 2nd XI have been relegated but this has been a difficult season for them and more can be hoped for next year with the league changes meaning they play in a league with new opposition including the new teams from the senior leagues.

The first team have rued missed opportunities this year after missing out on promotion by 30 points at the end of the year. However having been promoted into a new league previously they are happy and looking to build on that next year.

The season culminated with the end of year presentation at the club which as ever was a great night!
