Match report Barwell Have A Week Off To Recover After A Lackluster Performance.

On the hottest cricketing day of the year so far, Barwell were asked to field first in the heat, which was however no excuse for the fielding displayed. The first mistake occurred in the 3rd over with Skene getting the Enderby opener to edge behind, only for Marv to lose the ball under his nose and drop what is potentially the easiest catch he'll get all year.

More drops followed, including another moment lacking the 'Spirit of Cricket' where Enderby players cheered as one was put down at the second attempt. With incidents like this in the last 2 games you can only feel Ratby would fit in well in this league.

The Enderby openers pressed on with ease, aided by the lightning quick outfield, with both reaching 50. Again Nick Hines was the catalyst for slowing the run rate with a huge inswinger with his first delivery.

Enderby finished with a strong flurry of runs leaving Barwell with a target of 246.

Again the opening partnership of Moran and SJ started well, but wickets fell too easily through the innings with only a couple of batsmen offering any real resistance, and this was compounded by Nick Hines trying to put a yorker into the cemetery and being bowled to conclude Barwell's innings.

Post game we noticed Danny had the problem of trying to text his girlfriend, whilst being unable to resist talking someone who'd come with Nige Fisher, who Tommy described as 'a solid 8/10 for Danny'.

Also the Eurovision was enjoyed by all except Ady Baker who seemed to be menstrual, although declined the offer of a tampon.
