Match report Barwell were at home this week against Leicester Caribbean and won the toss & decided to bowl first.

Barwell got off to a great start, setting the visitors back to 2-21 off 10 overs thanks to opening spells Liam O'Rourke & Ben Betteridge, who both claimed a wicket. Lee Skene (1-22 off 8 overs) & Nick Hines (2-22 off 12 overs) then both bowled with great control through middle parts of the innings and Leicester Caribbean were reduced to 5-71.

Leg spinner Ady Baker was then introduced into the attack & bowled superbly taking the remaining 5 wickets, bowling the visitors out for 122. Baker’s figures were 5-16 off 9 overs.

Leicester Caribbean bowlers Ravat & Singh bowled with excellent aggression, Ravat taking the opening wicket. Clint Baker & Ady Baker put on 33 before Ady Baker was dismissed for 11. Clint Baker continued to attack the Caribbean bowlers before getting a delivery which took off the surface & was caught for 36. Jack Smith continued in the same fashion before getting bowled after managing a valuable 37.

Liam O'Rourke (12 not out) then saw the home side to victory 6 wickets down.
