Match report Due to the football and an early start Barwell 1sts took a scratch side to Melton and came away with a great 3 wicket win.

Skipper Clint Baker won the toss and elected to bowl first. There were times when it looked like Melton were on for a big score, but Barwell's bowlers performed well and were able to restrict the home side to 170 for 8. The wickets were shared between Ady Baker (3 for 28), Nick Hines (2 for 21), George Role (2 for 28) and Liam O'Rourke (1 for 43). Liam also took three important catches during the innings.

After losing two early wickets George and Clint Baker put on 60 for the 3rd wicket before George Baker was out for 28. Barwell then lost a further 4 quick wickets before Ady Baker (16 not out) joined Clint for a matching winning partnership of 60 for the 8th wicket. Clint ended on a superb 87 not out as he destroyed the Melton bowlers to take Barwell to an amazing victory with 11 balls to spare.
