Match report Barwell secured their 3rd league victory of the Thursday League campaign away at Twycross.

Batting first, Danny Moran displayed a full range of shots, including an attempted ramp shot, in scoring his maiden 100. His 108 included 14 4s and 5 6s and, when he was out in the 12th over, he had scored 108 of the 133 runs scored. Some even said that his farming of the strike was almost on a par with SJ!

Cameos from Alex Cullen (20) and Paul Pierce (19) took Barwell's score to 169 for 5 in their 18 overs.

Twycross were always behind the run chase, especially when Ben Betteridge took 2 in 2 balls with the score on 34. Eventually bad light brought an end to play after 13 overs with Twycross on 88 for 4 and a long way behind their required run rate.
