Match report Barwell concluded their Thursday night campaign with a convincing 88 run victory away at Atherstone 2nds.

Barwell batted first and were indebted to Andy Clarke (46) and Liam O'Rourke (34) for their 120 for 9 off their 16 overs.

Athestone's run chase never got going as Ben Betteridge (1 for 10) and Liam O'Rourke (2 for 9) restricted them to 19 for 3 off the first 8 overs.

George Rowley then claimed wickets with his first 2 balls and Matt Welsh took 3 wickets in his first over. Eddie Cross then took a wicket in his over and it was perhaps fitting that Tommy Wright claimed the final wicket of the season. Tommy has lead the team well all season, doing his best to give as many players a game whilst ensuring they went undefeated in the league, winning the division with two games to spare.
