Match report Barwell 1sts travelled to Maher Stars looking for their 2nd victory of the season. Electing to bat first, Maher Stars were soon regretting their decision as Ben Betteridge (4 for 19) and Liam Skene (2 for 35) had them in trouble and reeling on 40 for 6.

The pressure was kept up and the tail was mopped up by Nick Hines (2 for 8) and Ady Baker (2 for 9) as Mahers were bowled out for 71 in 24 overs.

A brief break for rain reduced Barwell's target to 70 for the win as they lost 3 quick wickets. Clint Baker and Brad Harvey steadied the chase, before Clint was bowled for 21. However, the victory was never in doubt as Brad (26 not out) and Dec Allen (8 not out) took Barwell to their target in the 23rd over.
