A winning weekend for both sides!

Both sides bounced back from last week and defeated Market Harborough and Barrow Town respectively. 

The first team bowled out Market Harborough 2nd's for just 93. Kev Hines continued to roll back the years with figures of 4-14 as Harborough never looked like getting a score. 

After recovering from 2-2 SJ made sure there would be no problem with the run chase and he finished unbeaten on 49 after a good partnership with Dec Allen. 

The firsts now sit fourth in the league and travel to Sileby who are second.  

The second team chalked up there first win of the season against Barrow thirds. 

We restricted Barrow to 143, Ady Baker finished with figures of 3-18 and Ben Betteridge finished with figures of 3-36. 

A knock of 64 from Betteridge got the seconds close to the target, but it took a last wicket stand from Liam Tillin and George Baker to see them home. 

The seconds now face Sharnford at home on Saturday.
