A flurry of late runs from brothers Kev and Nick Hines saw Barwell reach 236 all out.

This however quickly changed and from 50 for 0 the home side found themselves 88-6 and the last four wickets were swiftly accounted for as Ivanhoe were bowled out for 116. Opening pair Lee Skene and Chris Moore took three wickets each, and Nick Hines and Kyle Newall wrapped things up with two wickets apiece.

Captain Trent Rollins was impressed with his side’s performance, he said: “We were really good today. The lads who came up from the seconds stepped up really well and did their jobs to a high standard. We can be positive for next week and I have some big selection dilemmas now.”
