Barwell second team recorded their third consecutive win with a
comfortable victory against Grace Dieu Park.
Winning the toss and bowling proved to be a good decision
for Barwell and they dismissed Grace Dieu for 101. Chris Moore was the pick of
the attack with figures of 5-28 from 12 overs and he was supported by 17
year-old Sam Taylor who picked up figures of 3-12 from seven overs.
Barwell reached their target easily with the loss of just
two wickets. Josh Moore top scored with an unbeaten 30, and Ady Baker batted
through for 28 not out.
Barwell now face Leicester Ivanhoe at Kirkby Road on
Saturday who sit one place above them in the league.
